Get to Know Me
You'll know me by my showy, green-to-purple red-to red grass plumes. I grow in a large clump and can be planted in the ground or in a large container where I make a beautiful show. Once I'm established, I'm drought tolerant. However, I'm not cold-hardy, so I need to be brought indoors when temperatures head towards freezing.

Get to Know Me
Native to the Brazilian rainforest, I sport velvety oval leaves with silver veins and lavender or pink flowers. People also know me as a Trailing Velvet Plant, because my 2-ft long stems will droop, making me a great candidate for hanging baskets. Keep conditions warm, moist and humid and I'll reward you with a floral show. Mist me or keep me on a pebble tray indoors to ensure enough humidity. Dust my leaves regularly to keep me happiest.
