Livistona chinensis

Get to Know Me
Call me chill—not much gets me down. I prefer tropical conditions, but I can also handle cold, drought, direct sun, or part shade if necessary. With my fronds growing in circular, segmented patterns, I'll add a spiky pop of green gladness to your home. I like lots of bright indirect light, and if you turn my pot a quarter-turn every week, I'll grow more evenly. I also like to eat. Feed me monthly with a good palm fertilizer that includes potassium.

Foxtail Fern
Foxtail Fern
Asparagus densiflorus

Get to Know Me
Here's a little secret—I'm not really a fern. I'm from the asparagus family. And although I look soft and fluffy, I'm actually quite robust. You can plant me in a regular pot, hanging pot, or even take me outside in the summer or in warmer climates. I don't need anything special. I love living indoors, although I can also live outside in warmer climates. Bright indirect light and well-draining soil make me happiest. Moist—but not wet— soil and occasional misting help me stay looking fresh.
